BC10 Speaker #1
Ash Grunwald
Musician, environmental advocate
Northern NSW
Ash Grunwald is not only a globally successful blues and roots musician and local to the Northern Rivers, he’s also a passionate environmental advocate leading a number of clean ocean initiatives here in Australia and in Bali with his wife Danni Carr, the Founder of Earthbottles.
Alongside his music career, Ash has been the host of Triple J’s ‘Roots n all’ program, he has his own podcast ‘Soulful Conversations with Ash Grunwald’ and is a published author with the release of book ‘Surf by day, Jam by night’. After having this year’s tour run cancelled by the global pandemic, Ash has been teaching vocal and music lessons online.
Ash lives his own quiet revolution in everything that he does and we can’t wait for him to share his thoughts with us at this Friday’s Breakfast Club 10.

Ebony Busk is a self-taught artist hailing from the sunny shores of the Sunshine Coast. Her work is poignant and honest, with tributes to life and the female form. Ebony is drawn to expressing the subtleties of the human experience through the mediums of oil paint, charcoal and graphite, and is deeply influenced by the great masters of the Renaissance period. She also works with clay.
